Celebrating our 37th year!

The Lorenzo Driving Competition is a 2 day event held on the scenic grounds of the Lorenzo State Historic Site, Cazenovia, New York. Overlooking beautiful Cazenovia Lake, approximately 100 horses and carriages compete in a variety of classes including ring work, obstacles and a cross country marathon. Since its inception in 1977, the Lorenzo Driving Competition has been a first-rate display of pleasure driving, attracting spectators and competitors from all over the northeast. Our objective is to promote community interest in and preserve the fine art of classical carriage driving and to stimulate tourism and cultural interest in our community. Admission is free and open to the public.
